Permanent, on your terms. Two paths, both irreversible.
ALMA lets you permanently delete your account and the data associated with it at any time, directly in the app or by email. This page explains how, what gets removed, and what we retain.
Two paths
In the app — the fastest option:
By email — if you no longer have access to the app:
Write to concierge@joinalma.app from the email address on your account. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
Tip: before you delete, you can export a copy of your data via Account & Support → Download My Data in the app.
Permanently removed
When you delete your account, we purge the following from our systems:
Deletion happens immediately in the app and propagates to our backend within minutes. For email-based deletions, the same purge runs within 30 days of your request.
Retention
Anonymized analytics & crash diagnostics. Aggregate, non-identifying usage data and crash reports may be retained to improve the service. These contain no personal identifiers and cannot be re-linked to you after deletion.
Records we're legally required to keep. If we're required by law (for example, financial records of any purchases, or records relevant to a legal hold) to retain certain data, we retain it only for as long as the law requires and then delete it.
